On Wednesday 24th January, Years 1 - 3 took part in a variety of fine and gross motor control activities linked to promoting handwriting skills. Activities such as making their names using wool and glue on strips of paper, using goo and slime, playdoh, writing our names in jumbo chalks on the playground. At the end of the day, we used our handwriting skills to write a letter. We wrote letters to a resident at the Caversfield Care Home and have set up a pen pals system so we are waiting to receive our replies in the post.
